  • Forest open ~7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. No booking hassle (unlike tiger parks).
  • Bay Owl is notoriously elusive — multiple visits often needed. Guides (e.g. Gireesh) have been known to refuse payment after unsuccessful 2-day searches.
  • May is shoulder season — weather unpredictable.
